Guest guest
Well today I had to pack away ALL of my knick knacks and angels in the living room that were in the entertainment center. I think I told you all we took in a stray kitty. Hes being a REAL challenge. He has more toys than he needs. Got him lots of things at Goodwill and also Dollar Tree. He figured out now he can get on the dining room table, from there he went to the kitchen counter, over the stove, to the microwave, onto the refrigerator and to the very top of my cabinets! Now I don't mind him on the couch, chairs, bed, etc. but NOT on my table or counter tops. So needless to say before he breaks anything I took everything and packed it away. I have tried using a squirt bottle when he gets into something but this nut thinks your playing! I don't know what else to do. We love him to pieces but hes slowly but surely running me down. Hes up at least 3 times during the night and come 5am hes ready to go and there is no sleeping with him up. We don't sleep in our bed cause it bothers Chuck's back so he sleeps in the over size recliner and I sleep on the couch. So there is no way we can lock him out of the living room. The kids next door and grandkids plus my Aunt will be here for Christmas. Guest guest
Well, let's see...it's Hanukkah, And Christmas...I have a ham and a bottle of vino...I *was* going to do that for Sunday but we're all going over to Granny's then, so I will do it tomorrow for Robbin and I. We'll have *our* Christmas then, and on Sunday Rob will come get us and we'll go over the river and through the woods...to Grandmother's house we'll go...(literally! there is a rivulet behind me house we'll drive over and Elaine lives in the woods!). Then on Tuesday *hopefully* my PC will FINALLY be fixed! Something big to look forward to!! Not my OLD one, my NEW one. It hasn't worked right from the get-go, and he's been changing out parts trying to get it to work right. They've changed everything including the case and it is still misbehaving. So he's ordered yet *another* new hard drive/motherboard/etc...and will put them in on Monday. Also, my sweet Razzie has vanished. My tux kitty, the older one. It has been over 2 weeks, I fear she will not return. I have been offered a Burmese, and I think I'll take her. I miss my Razzie SO much and I am tired of crying, I think a kitten might just be the medicine I need to stop the sobbing. And my microwave stopped last night. Just stopped. No power, no light, like it was uplugged but it wasn't. Poop. I can't afford a new one so I put out the call on Freecycle. Nothing yet but it's still early...the old one was just 13 months old, too! Should have lasted a lot longer then that!!! *sigh* Anyway, Merry Christmas and, Happy Yule Happy Hanukkah to all! Akiba These are busy days but my thoughts are always with you all. As a result I wonder what is going on with each of you? A little quick update would be fantastic! hugs Sharon This email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Tis Christmas eve in our home. I am making spaghetti with meatsauce for dinner, with veggies and garlic bread. Tomorrow's dinner will be an odd combo of deer ribs--someone gave them to my husband, and ham and sweet 'taters. We are resting up to decorate the tree which we traditionally decorate on Christmas eve, then go to 11pm service at the Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow---built in 1685--it has been continually in use since that date! You can google and find it. What makes it so special, is that there is no electricity; there is a huge chandelier with about 30 or 40 candles, more or less. There is a big pot belly stove that heats the place. It is very special to worship there.Afterwards, they serve hot cider that has been warming on the stove. When we get home, it will be time to put the presents under the tree, then hit the bed.All of us, except my nearly 12 year old son, like to sleep in, but he is way too excited, and usually gets us up early. We'll have bagels with lox and cream cheese for breakfastSubject: what's going on with everyone? To: "Group" <mserslife >Date: Friday, December 23, 2011, 7:42 PM These are busy days but my thoughts are always with you all.
