Guest guest
Happy Birthday to ! What is in Banana Split Cake - but just the name sounds yummy.I'm so sorry about the birds. What's new in my life, let's see. I've decided to grow my hair long. Well, it's quite a bit grown out now since I got it cut short last, I can pull it back in a headband at least. But I'm going to give it a trial balloon, see if I can get it into a shape that's not very maintenance heavy and that my only option would be to pull it back in a ponytail. This makes hubby incredibly happy. I haven't worn my hair much longer than this (this happening when we are broke and other people need haircuts more than me) since 2000, so 11 years. I got fired from the job I had at the time, and decided I needed a change, so I cut it short - really short, and I wasn't wearing it that long at the time... , my youngest, seems to have a virus. He was complaining about his throat hurting since Monday, so I took him to the doctor. Not strep, but the doctor claims its " very contagious " and recommended keeping him home from school today. He was at school all week without a problem, and no one here has gotten sick, but I went ahead and did it. He's also in trouble for wearing his brother's underwear. I saw the boxers sticking out of his shorts when the doctor listened to his breathing from the back..when I was sitting there looking at them he tried to deny it ...little shi & ^ as soon as we got home changed into underwear, so when hubby went to look, he was wearing underwear. So we went upstairs to look for the suspect pair, he had buried them in the hamper, and they were still sweaty. He CLAIMED that he had no clean underwear, and then I pulled 5 pair out of the dryer. He was wearing his brother's socks, too....again, pulled more out of the dryer. The online game that I play released an expansion Monday....so I've been playing more, as hubby's on a massive drive to get his first character through the new content/new levels. And I'm definitely feeling the effects of spending too much time gaming. I told him we aren't doing it so quick on the next characters that we take through, my shoulders and wrist can't take it. Guest guest
I found out about 7 weeks ago that my gastric bypass that I had 8 years ago was totally screwed up and sometime in the last 6 months my thyroid bottomed out. I am on thyroid medication and dealing with the fact that I am disabled due to a doctor's negligence and that he lied to cover it up. (I am #$%* off). Not sure what I am going to do or what I will be able to do. My thyroid is fixable and I should be back to feeling good/better this next three months and maybe back to normal in the Spring. Guest guest
It's funny how the length of our hair makes such a difference in the way we feel. The length changes according to how we feel about ourselves and the changes in our outlook on life. When I moved to Alaska I grew my hair long. I guess it was an effort to rekindle my hippie days:) lolIs you son feeling better yet? I hope you don't get sick! Guest guest
Happy Birthday to ! He sounds like a great grandson. J I hope you have a wonderful time at the party. The foods and sweets they all sound YUMMY! My kind of party when there’s a variety of foods to enjoy. Steve’s favorite cake is chocolate layered with bananas in whip cream, and then chocolate frosting. I’m so sorry that you have those predators back. Poor Katy. With her love of animals it’s not surprising she is so worried. In our rural area there are no animal laws, or noise control. So in some ways it’s nice we have the freedom to do what we want on our property. But then there are those who don’t care where their dogs are, and won’t take responsibility for their actions. We haven’t had any bobcats out here that I know of, but coyotes a few years back were down by the lake trying to get the geese. We watched Tera Nova, and it looks like it might be a good series. I just hope they don’t pull it before its finished with the story like they did with other series that were really good ones. I just started watching Raising Hope from the first season on Netflix streaming, and isn’t Cloris Leachman a HOOT!! It’s a cute show. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I have been on the road so much because Bill has had a lot of appointment in Iron Montain. These appointments have been due to injurries that he has. I also have an upcoming appointment for a sleep study. It will be done 10-7-2011. I have a tendance to snore and I will also quite breathing. I am glad that I have Christal with me. She will wake me up when I quite breathing. she will either lick me or start braking untill someone comes to see what the trouble is. Margaret A. How is that even possible?!? is a wonderful kid and I'm so fortunate to get to spend so much time with him. He is kind, considerate, honest, moral, funny and always minds his gramma:)I cooked breakfast for yesterday. Buttermilk pancakes, bacon and eggs. He had a candle in his pancakes and we sang happy birthday to him. His party will be on Saturday and the entire family will be here. It should be a great day. We are having homemade red chili burros, pinto beans, and enchiladas. For desert I'm making a Banana Split Cake and brownies--all requested by . We have lost three chickens in the past week to predators. One of our young hens (hatched in May) disappeared this evening. My son caught sight of a dog yesterday near the old turkey pen but it ran off before he could get it. We also have seen signs of a bobcat. Poor is distraught over the birds and has still not gotten over finding the turkeys slaughtered in May. Did anyone watch "Terra Nova" on Monday night? It was pretty interesting I think. And who watches "Raising Hope"? The new season started a week ago. I love that show! What have all of you been doing? How's LIFE for you?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
