Ahhhhh, yes sooooooo cute. I love deer anyhow. They are just so beautiful. When I was growing up the people across the street had a pet deer they raised after they shot its mother. They discovered it had a fawn nearby. I was never too keen on hunting, but I can understand when people do it for food. Anyhow I use to feed it for them when they went on vacation. Thanks for sharing this heartwarming story. Glad Robbin is okay, might be just puberty. That’s when my daughter started getting headaches and heart palps. Doesn’t hurt to get it checked out anyhow. Get a baseline EKG. JHugs Jackie From: MSersLife [mailto:MSersLife ] On Behalf Of AkibaSent: Friday, July 29, 2011 10:24 AMTo: mserslife ; wayofthewingedheart Subject: One pound deer.......... Just TOO cute! One pound deer---he is beautiful This tiny deer was delivered by Cesarean section at a Wildlife hospital after a car killed his mother. Little Rupert, who is so small he can fit in an adults hand, was born after vets failed in their battle to save his mother. At just 6 " tall and weighing just over a pound, he is now in an incubator in the intensive care unit at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire. He has only recently opened his eyes.Les Stocker, founder of Tiggywinkles, said, " Rupert's mother had very severe injuries. We brought him out and got him breathing, and then he went into an incubator on oxygen. He is now being fed by a tube " Rupert in an incubator.Rupert pulls a striking pose for the camera.Staff members are optimistic that Rupert, now 5 days old, will make a full recovery. " Deer are very, very tricky, but this one has spirit. He's an extremely feisty, Little guy and quite pushy, " Mr. Stocker saidAsleep: Rupert takes 40 winks. Hope you will share this one.
