most custom patch/embroidery shops can take a drawing or picture and

produce various color combinations.

A few years back I saw some of the tactical team guys from ATCEMS and they

know of any vendors in the state that have these patches or were they a

custom job. If they were custom does anyone know if there is a specific rule

from TDH (sorry im old school) about reproducing the patches and possibly

having some made?

that depends. if the patches are just being made for you, and you have

authorization for the patches, probably no one is going to chase you. (most of

the patch outfits don't act like Disney, in other words).

if the outfit making the patches wants to make them to sell to others, they

need to contact the appropriate agency and get a copy right agreement.

Wes or Henry can probably be more authoritative.

Wouldn't it be more fitting to simply look it up instead of asking a group of

folks who are likely as uninformed as you? Even the old TDH had the rules posted

on the web, and if finding the actual rule proves difficult, I think they even

have phone service in Austin.

Let me help you. The rules are here:

http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/emstraumasystems/TexAdminCode.shtm

And this is the telephone number:

I know you said you were old school but do you realize that you actually spent

more time explaining that than you would have if you simply typed DSHS? And that

you could have had the answer to your question with a simple phone call?

Always puzzles me why folks come to this list to ask questions that should be

addressed to the agency that governs us.
