just remember that Edgewood and APG were the *second* site that the Army

used as a serious proving ground...Fort Hancock on Sandy Hook was the

first...

I believe that most of the really nasty chem stuff was moved to Dugaway

years ago, but they keep trying to move the last of the bio stuff to a Fort

Riley extension at Kansas State University...

Gives a new meaning to Purple Power!

just remember that Edgewood and APG were the *second* site that the Army

used as a serious proving ground...Fort Hancock on Sandy Hook was the

first...

I believe that most of the really nasty chem stuff was moved to Dugaway

years ago, but they keep trying to move the last of the bio stuff to a Fort

Riley extension at Kansas State University...

Gives a new meaning to Purple Power!

yeah...those are some nasties...and persistent as well.

The story I love is the one about the Frenchman cutting down an old, no

longer productive orchard in the 1980s...the trees dated from around the turn

of the 20th century, and the orchard was near Ypres...

He reportedly sat down on one of the stumps to rest, and the next day was

in the hospital with major burns on his butt.

It's also interesting that *if* the exposure is caught early (within an

hour or so of exposure), a simple wash with Betadine scrub solution will

neutralize and remove the oily chemicals.

Once the skin irritation is noted, there's nothing to do except standard

burn care.

Dr. Krin thought we were friends!

Born in a he'll hole called Camden at Our Lady of Loudes Medical Center. Raised

in northern Camden and Gloucester Counties. Works all of the Metro Philadelphia

as I can't keep a job.

As for the Jersey Shore (the real ones) I'm a Wildwood and Seaside Heights guy

but prefer OC MD for the crabs.
