Guest guest
yeah...those are some nasties...and persistent as well. The story I love is the one about the Frenchman cutting down an old, no longer productive orchard in the 1980s...the trees dated from around the turn of the 20th century, and the orchard was near Ypres... He reportedly sat down on one of the stumps to rest, and the next day was in the hospital with major burns on his butt. It's also interesting that *if* the exposure is caught early (within an hour or so of exposure), a simple wash with Betadine scrub solution will neutralize and remove the oily chemicals. Once the skin irritation is noted, there's nothing to do except standard burn care. ck In a message dated 02/02/11 21:54:52 Central Standard Time, lnmolino@... writes: Well I was last on base 1997.
