I'm glad to hear you had a good day Akiba. I got a robe too! You and I are twins:) Mine is very pink and very soft and very fuzzy -- and very warm.We were up early yesterday morning. We lit the lamps and sat by the fireplace enjoying coffee and cocoa. It was 6 degrees outside so that fireplace felt really warm and toasty. It was great watching the grandkids open their presents! I shop online for months preparing for Christmas. I don't have a lot of money so I work hard to get the best deals on things the kids want the most. For some of the grandkids that means books. They don't care if the books are used--they are just happy to get the books they want. The oldest (24) is into Magic the

Gathering and always has a very detailed book list. I love searching for the books he can't find anywhere. This gramma is known for getting the very hard to find books:) My three youngest granddaughters are into Barbie dolls and hard to find accessories. The 21 year old is a collector of knives and swords so I always look for a good deal on some sharp pointy things for him. lolI baked two hams and made a big pan of scalloped potatoes (10 pounds of spuds). I also made a large green bean salad. Daughter-in-law made rolls and spinach dip. It was a very good day! SharonThis email

I did, the poor delivery guy went

all around my neighborhood looking for me but he finally found me.

It is delightful! I have seen those evil eye beads online but

never in person, I love it! The cobalt blue color is delightful,

too!

So, How was everyone's day? We went to Elaine's, there was Rita

and her hubby Mick, Rob and Carol Lee, Elaine, Robbin and I.

Elaine made PRIME RIB! It was good =)

Rob got Robbin and I a 10 piece stainless steel cookware set,

Robbin also got a super-soft robe, a scrabble game, a portable

pool table, a clock radio, an LED flashlight (thing's SO bright!!)

and clothes. I got a robe, slippers and jammies and a lovely soft

bath towel. It was a nice day and everyone got along and played

nicely with each other. It was nice to see Rita and spend some

time with her. She is so thin, she's about 90#, They're going to

give hr another double lung transplant, they have to get her built

up enough to be able to stand it first. Right now she's on oxygen.

She's pretty sick but not ready to go anywhere just yet.

SO, dish...what did YOU do on your Christmas day?

Hugs

Akiba

Dear Akiba,

I was wondering if you could

receive the package or not. The evil

eye bead will protect you from bad

eyes looking at you. Its a belief of

the Turkish people. I wanted to send

you something that does not exist in

the US.

Hugs,

Nukhet

I wish a

merry

christmas to

all of you.

May all your

expectations

become true...

Hugs,

Nukhet
