If I cried he told me to shut up, and then it seemed like the Novocain wore off before he was done. I had a lot of cavities so there were many trips to him. It left me traumatized about having my teeth worked on for most of my life. Once I get into the chair and numbed up I’m not as fearful now, it’s just getting me there. Lol… I found a good dentist when we were living on Whidbey Isl. I can't go to the dentist who replaced the dentist who left because he is not in the office on Mondays or Fridays--the days I have for sure rides. So today I was looking through the phone book at the listings for dentists. And I found out my old, old dentist (Dr. R) has opened a new practice! He had sold his practice in town years and years ago and was volunteering his services at the county jail. But now he is back! That sounds like it should be an easy decision but here's my current dilemma. Dr. R is the nicest dentist I've ever met, the most compassionate, the kindest dentist ever. The problem is he is not the BEST dentist. In fact his work is well known to be a little substandard. But I know he would not hurt me. With the TN and the MS it is always a problem to see a dentist, you know. What should I do? Go back to the really kind, sweet, compassionate dentist that does slightly substandard work or someone else that may do great work but is not so kind and compassionate? Please give me your opinions! Guest guest
Hi n, leaving the Island was the worse mistake we made. We were there for 14 yrs, and then we decided to move down to Oregon to be close to family. Now we hardly seen them. Sad really because we left all our friends behind. I can’t travel anymore so I can’t see them very often unless they come down to visit us. Yes it is such a beautiful area, and raising our children there was great. Guest guest
Hi n,….oooooh, how I loved too! Last time I visited W. Island, and its been many years now, 1994 maybe? We decided to take the ferry over instead of driving around, and I could not stand up and walk around the deck without getting dizzy. First time that ever happened from all the years we took the ferry that never was a problem. But one of my first symptoms of MS was not being able to handle amusement rides, or walk across Deception Pass bridge and look over the side. [100ft+ downward]I knew something was up! Guest guest
My special sister-in-law (who was more of a best friend) spent a lot of time on Whidbey Island. She grew up in the Portland area. Her father was a fairly well known sportscaster named ny Carpenter there in Portland.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
