I am trying to enjoy cucumbers and tomatoes and getting very ill each time. I have always been able to eat cucumbers and tomatoes. I found a great recipie with vinegar, water, sugar, salt, dill weed and cukes. Tastes great. So I had oh about 1/3 c of cukes. I peeled the cukes and put the syrup in the crockpot since my stove is in storage for the flood and then cukes in crockpot syrup and turned off to marinate and cool.So simple.. didnt seem bad.I got so so sick. AGAIN. Not the first time. Last week same thing, but I had a diff recipie then that had a TB evoo in the recipie. okay.so my question is this:With MS do any of you find that at about 50 do you find you can no longer eat what you used to?I have ibs but it had not bothered me. Now , I thought oh appendix, or gallbladder. the back pain I said oh normal ms stuff. okay. Well the pain after gettin sick is still there by my belly button on the left side of my body... so... I guess I will have to call dr tomarrow and tell him this pain is annoying and what is it. I have been fine and now this..Im so so so sick n tires of being sick n tired. We did find 4 nice new tires this past weekend so we are ready for the flood and ready to head on down to the land for clearing and starting to build the cabin and go off grid. I cannot wait. Solar and wind only! I cannot wait!!! will have zip on util bills, Hopefully can use the wood from the land to build an basically have no bills ahh that would be a blessing!Knowing I got screwed on this house and walking away.. Will try and sell but I gotta do what I gotta do. If the taxes go up I have no choice. On a fixed income and who knows what the cuts in Medicare are going to be now... gotta cut back and go back to the basics.I can and will survive ... not like I am now. but i will! I peeled the cukes and put the syrup in the crockpot since my stove is in storage for the flood and then cukes in crockpot syrup and turned off to marinate and cool. So simple.. didnt seem bad. I got so so sick. AGAIN. Not the first time. Last week same thing, but I had a diff recipie then that had a TB evoo in the recipie. okay. so my question is this: With MS do any of you find that at about 50 do you find you can no longer eat what you used to? I have ibs but it had not bothered me. Now , I thought oh appendix, or gallbladder. the back pain I said oh normal ms stuff. okay. Well the pain after gettin sick is still there by my belly button on the left side of my body... so... I guess I will have to call dr tomarrow and tell him this pain is annoying and what is it. I have been fine and now this.. Im so so so sick n tires of being sick n tired. We did find 4 nice new tires this past weekend so we are ready for the flood and ready to head on down to the land for clearing and starting to build the cabin and go off grid. I cannot wait. Solar and wind only! I cannot wait!!! will have zip on util bills, Hopefully can use the wood from the land to build an basically have no bills ahh that would be a blessing! Knowing I got screwed on this house and walking away.. Will try and sell but I gotta do what I gotta do. If the taxes go up I have no choice. On a fixed income and who knows what the cuts in Medicare are going to be now... gotta cut back and go back to the basics. I can and will survive ... not like I am now. but i will! Now my brain is fuzzy….lol… anyhow it’s a dysfunction of the Sympathetic Nervous System. If you google RSD it will explain it better than I could. After the pictures I’ve seen of the flooding it couldn’t help but be contaminated. I’d have it tested too. By the way I joined the CRPS/RSD group you are on [saw your name] but I haven’t posted yet. My legs have been in bad shape lately, especially the RSD side [right one] Hugs, Jackie From: MSersLife [mailto:MSersLife ] On Behalf Of marion j rojas Sent: Sunday, July 31, 2011 11:04 PMTo: MSersLife Subject: Re: Garden -reply- (I do not know your first name) I was sorry to read of your reaction to vegetables from your garden; I am somewhat inclined to think that the flood water that hit your soil may well have been contaminated. Is there a way that you can have the soil tested--maybe even taking some of it in a small container with water and having your doctor's laboratory test it? I am not aware--despite all the quirks of our Mysterious Symptoms--of MS causing any change in diet as such.
