Isn't it great to have a wonderful doctor? I wish I had one! lol... I do like my doctor but she is on medical leave for a couple of months and I can't get anyone else at her office to renew my high blood pressure meds. Your doc is wise to think of which meds you have that may be causing your problems!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I had a regular doctor's appointment today. Unfortunately, I had an episode where every time they took my pulse, it was somewhere over 100. It happens occasionally, and testing has revealed that nothing was wrong. But this is a new doc - just started seeing her last month. So she ran an EKG, took my pulse several times, and went and actually looked things up, before finally coming to the conclusion that it may just be from the Amitryptilene or my Geodon, but she's doing more in depth testing for my thyroid tomorrow. I have to say I love this doc, she actually spends time with you and tries to figure stuff out, as opposed to the docs that I've seen at the Medicaid clinic, but I pay for it - she takes Medicare, but not Medicaid, so I'm responsible for the copay. I told her about my stomach pain, and she looked up all of my previous endoscopies, and ordered a test for H. pylori (I've tested negative for that before), and

is switching my GERD medication to see if it will help (hopefully the insurance will cover it).

What's happening in your lives? Or at the moment? With your MS? With your weather?

It is!  It's been so long since a doc actually listened to me other than my MS doc.  The doctor(s) that I had at the Medicaid clinic were all boom done, and didn't want to talk about any kind of pain relief.  This one, not only did she give me pain meds for my fibromyalgia, but she told me to take it for my migraines, too.  And she is adamant that I can't take any NSAIDS (have had doctor's offices totally forget that when calling me something in, like they didn't look at my chart).

You know, I think I ended up sending that mail twice - I couldn't find it in my sent items, and I STILL can't find it in my sent items, odd.  Tina

Why can't you take NSAIDS? Does it cause stomach pain? I can't take any NSAIDS or aspirin because it causes severe stomach pain. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
