Okay, so maybe that was a bit harsh but it gets so tiresome seeing this kind of

question asked to a list of people that very likely don't have any more

information than you. Asking for info from this list is asking for trouble. They

don't know any better than you do. You called yourself " old school. " To me that

indicates experience. If you've had some experience you should know that asking

this list, or any public forum questions is unlikely to get you an accurate

answer.

If you've called DSHS twice and not gotten a reply, then that is a problem. The

people at DSHS are supposed to be responsive to the stakeholders. I've never had

a problem calling and getting an answer, but if they are not answering for you

then you need to work up the chain or perhaps calling one of the satellite

offices. State agencies are required to be responsive to the public.

Asking this list rule or law questions will get you a dozen answers and you will

still not know if any of them are correct.

And to Molino, if someone still calling DSHS by a name the agency hasn't used in

6 or 7 years means to you that that person is " our young, " I simply don't know

what to say.

I agree with questions like this are asked on this and other list

serves that I monitor on a regular basis. If you had read Chris' original

post he indicated that he had looked on the website but what he read in the

rule indicated to him that this type of patch is not authorized, hence the

question to those who may have dealt with this in the past and had insight

into the subject. He also indicated that he had called without response.

If you are so tired of reading questions on the list serve then perhaps you

need to learn how to use your " delete " button, rather than belittle and

criticize someone asking for legitimate information.
