Guest guest
Hi, I’ve been here reading, but too ill to respond. My pain levels have been off the charts in my legs, and I just haven’t felt very well for a couple weeks now +…….don’t know exactly what is causing it, if it’s the MS, or one of the other things I have going on. My eyes have been so watery it’s been hard to see. I use allergy drops but they help with the itchiness but not the water. It’s getting irritating. I was supposed to have my dentist appt. today, but Steve is going to take it instead. It’s just too cold outside and its suppose to rain more. Maybe the changes in the weather is what’s doing it? Friday is Steve’s birthday and Tina, doodles and her hubby are coming up. We are having lasagna [made by Stouffers] salad, sour dough bread, cherry and apple pie. I don’t have a present to give to Steve, so will let him have my gift card I got for my b-day last July that I never used. He is just so hard to buy for. nne about the spasticity, sometimes I have to move really really slow after I’ve been immobile for a while, like after a nights rest. If I move too fast my body will stiffen, and sometimes go into a hard stretch, and then I can get up when it relaxes some, but slowly still. It doesn’t last long, but it hurts when it does the stretching thing. If I am fighting any type of illness, allergy flare, or anxiety/stress it will do the same thing even if I try and get up from my desk. I’ve had my arm go into spasticity when the phone rings and that usually tips me off that I’m flaring. Other times it doesn’t affect me much. The getting up in the morning stiffness is pretty much constant now. Hard to get those muscles moving when they don’t want to. I’ve had times when I have to lay there for a few minutes while I feel the tenseness in my muscles and take some deep breathes to try and relax them. I hope this explains it well enough, and will be wondering if Chuck can relate to any of it. If you need more specifics please ask, and I’ll try and describe better.
