Guest guest
Hi all, I made an error with a retention enema. In the hospital they gave me a plain water cleansing enema. Just water from the sink. They also gave us our drinking water and bathing water from the same sink. Previously at home I always used spring water for drinking and spring, or boiled or distilled water for an enema. However, at the hospital, and then later the rehabilitation home I became accustomed to using their water. Straight from the sink. Then, a few days ago, feeling I needed a tap water enema I brought it and filled and used it. I had grief ever since. The tap water in my location is okay for drinking but it immediately hurt my intestines. And now days later I can feel where it went. It is painful on and off.] I regret using not sterile water or spring water and will be more careful in the future. Has anyone heard of this? I wonder did I give myself IBS. I feel like I then a few days of an antibiotic. Any ideas? Caro
