The Autovent 4000 has a CPAP feature you can get on it. It is very easy

to use!

Subject: portable transport vents

Same question as last but how about portable transport vents? Autovent

3000 and 4000 and what else is commonly used on the trucks in Texas?

Also, does anyone have either a CPAP unit that is commonly used in EMS

and/or a transport vent that is no longer operational or has been

replaced in your system by another brand that would work for training

for sale?

Jane,

The best transport vent I have used pre-hospital/interfacility is the

Crossvent manufactured by Bio-Med. It will do all functions as well as CPAP

and can do a simulated BiPAP. Both AC and a 6-8 hour battery. Very compact

and user friendly.
