Guest guest
Thanks for the link to Chato's picture. He is a really nice looking dog. My dog came from County Pet Rescue; but, he was also listed on the Northwest Great Pyrenees Rescue. The Rescue had given him the name Snowfoot, which is a nice name; but, for me, it was not so easy to say because of the S. It comes out sounding something like "Thnowfoot". said that his face kind of reminds him of the polar bears in the Coca Cola commercials that play during the holidays. So, I decided to call him PolarDonna in WASubject: Re: my dogTo: "MSersLife " <MSersLife >Date: Sunday, October 23, 2011, 6:34 PM How tall is he? Does he have the size of the Pyrenees or the Lab? I have been looking for a dog to train as an assistance dog for over a year. Finally, I have a good candidate. He was listed with the Northwest Great Pyrenees rescue: http://northwestgreatpyrenees.com/available.htmlA member of the service dog group I belong to found him on Petfinder. He was living with his foster dad in Ritzville, WA until yesterday. His foster dad brought him to my home yesterday. He has great indoor manners and is learning. His foster dad has three purebreed Pyrs of his own and said that this dog is not purebred. However, his best guess is that he may be part lab as well. He definitely has a lab face. His foster dad said that he is around a year old, probably not much more than a year. He shouldn't get too much taller; but, will probably fill out more. Guest guest
He is incredible. When I first met Chato he was only 6 months old and as big a small pony. Maybe not actually --but darned close. lol My granddaughter, , was only 2 and Chato was so gentle. He walked around with and just watched her. There was none of the normal puppy exuberance that could knock a little one down. What a special dog!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
