Guest guest
Hi ,…..hope you are doing better today. Men can be so dense sometimes, and get wrapped up in things where everything/one else is oblivious. I can be coughing [choking] and Steve’s right in ear shot and he won’t even notice. Finally after I cough up my lungs I say, didn’t you hear me choking? He usually says yeah, but didn’t think it was anything serious. Geeeeeeeesh!! Hugs, Jackie RE: ....... It’s not too bad when Tina comes because she will help Steve get the dinner ready IF her hubby will watch Christian, but half the time he sits on the couch watching TV as does my son letting everyone else do the work. I get after and Skylar to set the table, and help with cleanup, but it’s getting harder for them to be consistent. So I’ve begun to just order something out to be picked up to take the load off from Steve. I don’t know where these kids think it’s okay to let him do all the work, and not help. They all know our health issues. Why should we have to wait on them? I hope your family took notice and realized how much effort you put in Sharon to help do what you can. I have been dragging for days but have had to fix dinner in the heat. My son usually does the cooking but he is gone for work for several days. I have the three granddaughters with me during the day while their mom is working. Yesterday I marinated chicken breasts all day in an onion/mushroom marinade. I cooked the chicken, mashed potatoes and corn. Would you believe not a single kid nor their mother thanked me for the meal or said it was good? No feedback at all. The only way I know they liked it is there was nada left on plates. My son won't be home til late tonight (probably) and my daughter-in-law has a half day today. Guess what? I won't be cooking today!! They are all on their own:) And I'm gonna enjoy it. lol Creeps! My granddaughters, their mother and your hubby!! How are you doing now? hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
