MSer's

I just had to share this about my "YiaYia".

On facebook a friend was typing how proud she was 45 she finally learned how to fold fitted sheets.

Since it takes me forever to type using spell check I had to copy & paste this with my MS Friends.

Terri Apostolakos

OMG too funny. 1 thing about being my YiaYia's favorite she taught Me @ this is embarrassing I was 8. Those were the days she taught me a bunch of stuff. Like baking Greek cookies and pastries she never measured but used a plastic drink cup. From Mcs like I said too funny:)

Her cup was 7 oz's. used that plastic cup to measure sugar. Flour was easier she told me to use the 2 lb along with a 5 pound bag. tea spoon was in the drawer .It took most of the day like 8 -10 hours. She learned after I returned every year.

She would make a double batch. I greased the cookie sheets with Crisco shortening. I also would shape them and add the egg on top for the color/sesame seeds, etc.

When I finally started to do this on my own. I had to tape her on a cassette and save it:) She spoke mostly Greek with the occ. English word thrown in.

She also Made me promise to not give the cookie sheets to Anyone. When they ask for one tell them YiaYia said NO!!

Told you it was long, took an hour to type:)

Many Healing Hugs,

Terri
