Guest guest
It is 6:00 AM and we are about to leave a KOA about 100 miles north of the Florida/Georgia border enroute to the Fort Lauderdale area. We have an appointment at an RV repair place for first thing tomorrow morning and have already been told that the ordered parts have arrived. We are alloting two full days for the repairs and plan on picking the rv up on the morning of the 4th to head north. We expect to get some place in South Carolina on Wednesday and then drive to northern Virginia on Thursday. I will send separate off- list email confirmations to those on the list, but plans are to see S. on Friday and B. on Saturday. Specific itinerary details are still a bit fuzzy for the August 8-23 period, other than names and general areas. I have three people to see in Pennsylvania - Heim if I can set it up with him, Deborah of AOBTA, and my wife's nephew. For the Toronto area, I want to see Jill, Stacey, Meagan and a massage therapist who Jill put in contact with me. If possible while passing through, I also would like to drop back into the Buffalo area to see Sue Ginley and Bob and Judy King. That covers the 8th-17th. The following week before needing to be in Baltimore includes Mel Menezes in Boston and Parsons in Connecticutt. I don't have specific dates figured out yet for either of them. Part of that depends on what route we take getting there. Current thinking is to take 2-3 " personal days " and drive into upper New England just to see it (Vermont/New Hampshire/Maine). I then have four days blocked for the Baltimore area: 24th-27th, including the meetings on the 26th-27th. We would leave there on Saturday the 28th and drive to the Cleveland Ohio area for a support group meeting on Sunday being orchestrated by Pam Moffat. TJ doesn't know this yet, but if she and her mom are going to be around, I plan on swinging back up north from Ohio to pay her another visit (maybe she will be a tad less skittish this time). We would then go from there to Minnesota to see P. and across North Dakota to see Onale on the way home. Best guess is to be back home late the 7th of September or sometime on the 8th. Again, I will send out separate off-list emails to the folks on the stop-by list with more precise information after we have the repaired rv back in our possession, hopefully on the morning of the 4th.
