Moved my desk, and a dog induced fall

So hubby changed his mind about where he wanted to move my desk too.  I had

to get everything out of my desk, clean it off (it needed it), etc., before

it could be moved.  So that meant, of course, taking the computer down, and

everything else.  In the midst of this, UPS arrived.  My dog doesn't like

UPS on the best of days, so I had a hold of his collar and had him sitting

(was thinking this was just going to be a drop off, no need to sign - I

forgot about the monitors), and when the guy knocked on the door, Dodger

took off like a bolt of lightning.  Needless to say, I ended up on the

floor.  Owwwww.  Still had to finish what I was doing, too.  So I finished

what I was doing sitting down.  Now my desk is in it's new spot, and I'm all

hooked up, and since nothing is blocking the vent anymore, hopefully I'll be

cooler.  I've sat down now, and I don't whether I can get up!

I'm very stiff and sore right now.  I told hubby once I sit down on the couch, I won't be getting back up.  Luckily, my knee bruise is still just a bruise, no cane required, but my back is killing me.Tina

When Peaches gets under my feet and gets

tangled up it is my fault and she is innocent and why aren’t I putting

food in her food dish – I get more respect from my grand dogs at ’s

Mad Max and the Shetland Pony went

to new homes – the stress was too much – Miss B the crone –

ever since her first anesthesia for haircut, shampoo, and teeth cleaning she

has had a positive attitude adjustment – expensive but well worth it –

she is blind as a bat but operates on sonar – she picked up a trick from

Mad Max – Dad didn’t fix the hole in the fence so she did her

security check for almost two weeks – popped out the hole – easy for

a sitz tzu – she marked the edges of the garden appropriately with dna –

wandered around the house – jumped up the steps and barked to be let in –

Mom was so thrilled with her going AWOL on a daily basis – she fixed the

fence with a cement block night before last when Dad didn’t do it

Sunday Herrn our favorite gentle giant

slept most of the day except for side trips to supervise to see that Mom was

getting her jobs done correctly

My grand cats in Michigan – Tir went into the office –

it had been off limits due to naughties and somehow 8 + got in – they weren’t

doing anything – they were having a sit in. How that happened is still a

mystery.

The water baby (with 13 adults and 2

kittens rapidly becoming adults I forget) plays with the water when she does

dishes – since they have been having triple digit weathers she takes

several vinegar baths a day – her long hair is in a ponytail and braided –

so water baby gets to indulge his water fetish – when she gets up in the

morning he beats her to the bathroom – he keeps biting the faucet hoping

she will turn it on so he can bite or hit the water.

Simon the older kitten is having remedial

behavior training – he thinks he is the Prince of Wales and can get away

with murder – that is why she has to go out and get more water pistols –

no means more with a burst of water on his butt

His little brother is an observer –

if Simon doesn’t get in trouble he does it – if Simon gets in trouble

he does not do it
