Port Arthur Fire Department is accepting applications for

Firefighter. Submit your application to Port Arthur City Hall

, 444 4th St, Port Arthur, Texas, no later than Friday,

October 14, 2011 at 5:00pm.

Civil Service examination will be on October 22, 2011 at 09:00.

Prerequisites for application: Individual must be certified or enrolled in a

certification program approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a

Basic Structural Firefighter, or higher; or a Texas Department of State Health

Services approved program at the EMT-Basic, or higher; applicants must hold both

certifications at time of hire.

PAFD is a civil service, full-time fire department on the gulf coast currently
