Guest guest
Hi Tina,….my daughter brought home a cat [sebastian], very nice kitty and we ended up keeping him even when she moved out. He would come into bed on my side and wanted to sleep on my pillow with me, and of course that would never work, so I would grab him and put him under the covers next to me and he’d stay for about 10 mins and then leave, not to come back the rest of the night. Guess he just needed a little bit of loving and he was good. I have had most of our animals in bed with us. Of course we made sure they were clean. (Himself found this in the yard last night) My hubby, not a cat person, got me a cat for graduation from Sanford-Brown. Hubby decided Isis wasn't going to sleep with us, but Isis had other ideas. First night, I'd wake up every couple of hours with the cat curled up next to me. I'd put him down on the floor, and I'd wake up later with him curled up again. Finally, I gave up and he slept with me.Tina Yeah when they are older, but all my cats liked to do acrobats throughout the house which made a lot of noise. I don’t think I ever had a mellow cat since Freckles and that was years ago. She slept with me, but then I wasn’t so needy for sleep then. We had a foster older cat a few years ago, and she was so use to being fed at 5 am, well I don’t get up until 6 am, and so she would jump at the door to try and get me up. We weren’t allowed to keep her outside, so we had to give her back. I like the sound of Kee-shah, and how fitting since she was found after the rain. Good choice, smart granddaughter! (Himself found this in the yard last night) Cats LIKE to sleep! :-) We just close the bedroom door, only one sleeps with us - and he is not aware of BEING a cat... I'm assuming kee-sah, that would be the most universal. Though it might be kee-SHAH in Serbian, where it means rain shower (again appropriate since we found her after a big rainstorm!) I do miss having fur babies though. Is the name you chose pronounced “keesa” or “ki sa”? -----Original Message-----From: MSersLife [mailto:MSersLife ] On Behalf Of ThallasSent: Tuesday, August 30, 2011 4:40 PMTo: MSersLife Subject: RE: Surprise! Never had a deaf cat, but friends have had - sweeties! Just watch out, albinos can be deaf - we had a deaf cat once - not because of the albino thing, but because of the former owners not paying attention. Poor thing didn't know how loud he was, so his meows and purrs were LOUD. He was one of the sweetest cats I ever had. ------------------------------------
