Guest guest
Hello Liza, wecome to the group . I had an IV med given through an IV pump after surgery that was like Ibuprophen, called Toradol. It was wonderful for my aching joints after being on the operating table. They gave me a shot of it in the IV port too just before I had to get up for a walk. It makes you pleasantly sedated for a few moments, but it relaxed any anxiety I had in thinking I had to get up with pain. Ask your doctor about Toradol as part of your post-op meds. It is also in pill form, but that can't be taken for more than a few days because of the intense stomach irritation. ~Duv ()
