Guest guest
Resurfacing - how long does it last? That question is and will remain hypothetical until those that have been resurfaced have the need to be be revised etc. I'm 41 months down the road on my left side and 39 months on my right both BHR's done, by Ronan Treacy, in the UK where thousands are now done annually and is recognised as a normal medical procedure. That includes Corin & prostheses.. A lot of people post on this site so out of the 1000+ members how many sre complaining of the short life of 2 to 3 years - none! Many many resurfacings are done worldwide with documented life of up to 12 years and still going. There are revisions but for BHR these are 0.6% (NHS figure). Can you imagine a countries health system paying for something that lasted as little as you were told! What you were told was a load of porkies. Sadly other people may be told the same and are not able too get information from a site such as this.
