Good for your sons. How old are they? If you mentioned I don't remember. Our

kids each had a certain chore to do on Saturday. Everyday they had to make their

beds. My motto was if you eat/drink anything after meals, you wash, dry, and put

away what you used. Started that with our grandson and he still does it when he

come over. Hes at college now so we don't get to see him a lot.

You will remain in my prayers.

Okay, well, we have the furnace guy coming some time this week, because our thermostat literally runs through batteries in about a week - so rather than the landlord (father in law) replacing the thermostat, he's calling the furnace place to have them "look at the thermostat" (it needs replaced, duh) and do a yearly maintenance on the furnace.

At the same time, we discovered that the stand alone basketball hoop in the back yard is rusting, and needed to come down. So, I started off by cleaning up the living room so it could get vacuumed. Told son #2 to do the honors when he was done cutting the grass. Do some other stuff, I swear, I didn't think it was much, but I was on my feet for at least an hour or so, and I guess my back just started to give. Did as much as I could, then sat down to take a break. Evidently I should have taken a break sooner, or not sat down until I was done, lol. Couldn't get back going when I got up. Son #2 took over cleaning the stove for me, without me even asking. And when he vacuumed the living room, he vacuumed off the loveseat, too, to get the dog hair off. Both boys worked their respective tails off today, and their dad and I appreciate it so much. Finally got hubby to sit down as he is having

this hip problem, woke up at 5:00 am with an absecced tooth, and pulled his back and legs when he was removing the basketball hoop.

I think we're going to have a "whatevers" night for dinner, because I'm not sure either of us can stand up long enough to cook it!I broke down, and even though I'm not supposed to take anti-inflammatories, I took ibuprofen. I've got enough inflammation in my back and hip that it's not going to feel any better without it. Talked hubby into taking a flexeril in addition to the painkiller and ibuprofen I nearly had to force down him before we got started (for the back, and for the tooth). I'll have to make sure before bed I make him take another flexeril, or the first one won't do any good. I say I had to force the meds down him earlier - last night he was complaining about his hip, he was sitting at his desk, the ibuprofen literally in a cabinet above his head. I told him to take it, he didn't. I told him to take a flexeril, he didn't. He did remember to take his vitamins yesterday, although the fish

Okay, well, we have the furnace guy coming some time this week, because our thermostat literally runs through batteries in about a week - so rather than the landlord (father in law) replacing the thermostat, he's calling the furnace place to have them " look at the thermostat " (it needs replaced, duh) and do a yearly maintenance on the furnace.

I think we're going to have a " whatevers " night for dinner, because I'm not sure either of us can stand up long enough to cook it!I broke down, and even though I'm not supposed to take anti-inflammatories, I took ibuprofen. He did remember to take his vitamins yesterday, although the fish

oil you are supposed to take with a meal, and he never remembers to do that, he just takes it when he remembers.

I guess I'll see tomorrow whether I pushed it too hard.  Tina
