Guest guest
I haven't been checking the board lately and so you may already have enough info regarding surgeons in Ontario. From the list that Captain Amaze_O provided, I've seen 2 of the 3 and the third, Dr. Fiebel, from my understanding is not doing resurfs anymore. I was referred to Dr. Kim. I found Dr. Schemitsch a complete waste of time if you are interested in resurfacing. Besides, he'll make you wait 3 hours in the waiting room at SMH. Dr. Kim is a friendly, youngish surgeon who has probably about 50 resurfs under his belt. He'll answer all your questions. I'm trying to get into see another surgeon in the Hamilton area, Dr. . I have a friend who will be resurfacing his hip but knows little about his experience. I haven't been able to get any background on him though. Good luck. Guest guest
Thanks for the info - I have attempted to contact Dr. Kim - no luck yet - he must be rally busy. I have heard from another " surfer " who just had surgery with Dr. Kim in May - am waiting for more news. I wish he had more than 50 but that's better than none. Let me know how your friend makes out with the doctor in Hamilton - that's really close to home for me. Thanks again.
