Hi , I'm in LA also and have blue cross, it's funny because I

wanted to get blue cross so that I could see Dr. Beaule at UCLA

because I wasn't getting anywhere with Kaiser's OS. I see Dr. Beaule

again next week and I'm fairly certain he's going to recommend the

resurfacing. I'm of course totally Type A and have already started

considering what to do about insurance coverage. Blue Cross is

notorious for giving people the run-around. In fact when I had my

original acetabular osteotomies in 1994 in New Mexico my parents

used up my college savings to pay their half of my surgeries

($15,000). Anyway, I'm hopeful someone out there has some bit of

info that will shed light on all of this.

good luck, let me know if you hear anything, I'll post any

constructive info I come accross

Sam
