To: MSersLife Sent: Mon, July 18, 2011 4:43:54 PMSubject: Introduction Chuck and nne Chuck retired at 62 and about 3 yrs after that was having some problems with walking etc. Our family dr sent us to Dr Ta the neurologist. He sent Chuck for an MRI. Before our next visit to Dr Ta Chuck started having major problems with walking. It got to the point he couldn't move his left leg. We took him to the ER and they checked him for a stroke and everything came back ok. I mentioned to the ER dr that we had just been for an MRI a few days earlier and could it be MS as that was what he was being checked for by Dr Ta. They called Dr Ta and he put him on a steroid drip and he stayed in the ER for a few hrs till that was done. By the time they took him upstairs to his room he could move his foot. They kept him that day and then released him and we had to go back for a few days as outpatient for the steroid treatments. He does get a steroid treatment every so often. He has more good days than bad. He does have eye pain on occasion. He also has diabetes. We will be married 48 yrs in Oct. We have 3 children, Chuck 44, aka Bunkie since the day he was born :-) He has Justyne who will be 8 in the fall. Timmy 43, who lives next door with his significant other, he has Jarett who will be 19 the 26th, and is 19, who is his sig. others daughter, Jeannine will be 42 in Sept. they adopted Peyton from S. Korea when he was 3 mo old. He is now 10. I am a 21 yr breast cancer survivor and also have fibromyalgia. I guess thats it.Hugsnne------------------------------------
