Guest guest
Yes, I saw it... Just terrible and I feel so sorry for some of those individuals :-( But perhaps this is one of the benefits of having EDS. It forces us to find out for ourselves what treatments, tests, and management is needed and appropriate and what isn't so we can be our own advocate and ask questions when we think something is fishy. And as for second opinions, I'm sure we're all well versed with them! -Rhea
Guest guest
Unfortunately I only caught the tail end of the show (beginning about halfway through the story of the woman with the gauze dressing left inside her after giving birth) and wished I had caught the entire show. It's unbelievable what some people (including many EDSers) have had to go through!! > is anyone else watching Oprah's show on medical mistakes? Oh man..... >
