Guest guest
Jen~~ Sounds a bit like adhesions. I think, however, you should make an apt with your surgeon to have him/her look at it. Could be nothing but it could be sutures/staples or foreign body moving around too. You never know with EDS since stuff loosens up so quickly. Keep us informed? Great! Debbi Shoulder Problem Hi all, I had my right shoulder operated on in August of 2000. It has been doing okay since. It started subluxing again about a year and a half ago or so. It has not bothered me too much but lately it has been having a hard time staying in place. and i know it dislocates or subluxes a lot when i sleep. this morning it was hurting as usual but then the area under where the scar is it started to really bother me. it was like the tissue under the scar was burning or itching or something. i am not sure how to describe it. i was wondering if anyone had anything like this happen to them? is there anything i can do to help it feel better? i do have a pinched nerve in that shoulder from the surgery, it does not feel like it is the nerve but i don't know. any advice or experience you all can share would really help me feel less bizarre. hugs jen EDS III Phoenix, AZ To learn more about EDS, visit our website: http://www.ehlersdanlos.ca

Guest guest
Debbi, The problem is that the person who did the surgery retired after he did it. The other problem is that I moved, the surgery took place in a suburb of IL and now I live in AZ. I have seen an orthopedic surgeon out here that I am pretty comfortable with and that has general knowledge of EDS so I am going to see him. I have been fighting to get my medical records to my main doctor but they keep " forgetting " to send them.
