Very Weird New Thing! Anybody have?

Okay, to start - have some mild Reynaud's, hands and feet have always

turned red or blue with heat or cold - used to be much worse when I smoked.

Add in - IT-band pain in left leg, loss of normal sensation in outer

half of left hand. Have been noticing that hot water - shower, washing

dishes, etc- makes the weird sensations in the left hand worse.

So anyway, haven't been able to get in tub because of left leg, but last

night a shower just wasn't working for muscle spasms. I sat on edge of tub

with feet in water, pouring hot HOT water over my legs with a big measuring

cup.

I noticed that my left hand was BLUE - all except the " weird sensation "

area, which was bright red, with a clear line of demarcation down the back

of my hand from between the ring and middle fingers to the wrist, like

someone marked it off with a ruler! Has anybody else every had such a

thing?

I discovered today in the shower that it's a " repeatable " thing - here's

hoping I can get a Dr's appt before my fingers fall off or something!

goes numb at the drop of a hat, there is no loss of function - a little

Do you think this latest hand stuff is from the Reynaud's? It sounds like the blue hand would be. But then you have all this other stuff going on! I hope you can get into the doc soon!!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The blue, yeah prolly - but the thing on the outside of my hand feels like

" nerve " something - it started out some weeks ago with loss of sensation in

BOTH hands, but thank goodness the right hand has pretty much returned to

normal.

There are times when I could take a Sharpie and trace a " numb " or a

" burning " path from the tips of my pinkie and ring fingers straight up the

back of my arm to my neck, and that ain't Reynaud's...

The burning in the pinky and ring fingers can be ulnar nerve compression. Here's a good link for finger parenthesia. http://www.bettermedicine.com/article/finger-paresthesiaWhat do you think? Does it give you any hints as to what is going on with you?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Thanks, interesting! I'm thinking something in my neck, though, because it

was bilateral when it started. Plus there's the pretty pretty colors...

Also since it started, I have completely lost the " asleep " sensation in

both hands - goes from numb to burn to weird " joybuzzer " without the

pins-n-needles bit in the middle.

Gotta try calling the clinic again Monday, sigh, we couldn't get

anything but the answering machine all day today.

Possibly a pinched nerve in your neck? I have the ulnar thing going on since I rest my arm and elbow most of the day on the arm rests on my chair. So I have tingling and some numbness in my 3rd over to my pinky finger. I hope you can get in soon to see the Dr., I hate it when they don’t call back, and you have to wait the weekend.
