These days, it'll be interesting to see if whoever does so gets fired over it.

Than's OK, Doc. I couldn't carry a tune if I had an iPod (I used to say boombox

Although some might consider this amusing, I don't believe that this is

something to happy about or even proud of. While I realize that refusals do

sometimes occur, they should not be the object of our attention or our goal when

leaving the station. This is just bad medicine.

Sorry I have to disagree with you, while forcing refusals is a bad

practice, laughing helps people cope with the job I'm sure I don't have to tell

anyone that. Let loose and laugh and joke at the moments you can cause we all

know there will be many more times we cannot

While I agree with having fun and enjoying ourselves when we can, perhaps making

light of not transporting a patient is in bad taste. Laugh it up when we do

something good, make a song about a life saved or a family helped. What do we

want to be know for? Is it for making fun of no-transports?

Agreed. I just wish our young profession took as much enjoyment in a task well

Funny, I think, that about half of us enjoy getting out of work, and the other

half enjoy resenting everyone else in the profession.

No offense meant to yourself in particular, ; it's a generalized

observation of my own experiences, and not intended as a commentary on yourself,

myself, nor anyone on the listserve.

Um,,,,,,,,, me thinks it was a joke, something to laugh at. If you can't laugh

at some things, I probably don't want to work with you.

Although some might consider this amusing, I don't believe that this is

something to happy about or even proud of. While I realize that refusals do

sometimes occur, they should not be the object of our attention or our goal when

leaving the station. This is just bad medicine.
