Guest guest
Sharon, this does sound like a form of peripheral neuropathy. This can be treated and/or ameliorated.Love and hope,nSubject: my update on painful knee/legTo: "Group" <mserslife >Date: Sunday, December 4, 2011, 1:19 PM Now I am wondering if the knee/leg pain was due to MS. The knee/leg is getting better and I am able to put a little weight on it. But now both legs feel like they have been dipped in fire and ice at the same time. I am still using the crutch and it is helping immensely. The burning/freezing is from above the knees to the toes. The worst areas are around my ankles and upper feet. It is bilateral. At least I can walk a little better. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Low dose Prednisone and my own epilepsy medication helps. For you, they mighttry Neurontin--they do not use that on me as I take Phenobarbital for the epilepsy---works.Love,nSubject: my update on painful knee/legTo: "Group" <mserslife >Date: Sunday, December 4, 2011, 1:19 PM Now I am wondering if the knee/leg pain was due to MS. Guest guest
I won't take neurontin any more. I was able to stop all medications for the symptoms several years ago. Yea! I was ecstatic that I could stop those medications because the all contributed to my severe dry mouth. When I say "severe" I mean SEVERE. So many people will say "I have a dry mouth too". Which is like comparing MS fatigue to "yeah, I get tired too" from a non-MSer:) I do have prednisone but it isn't low dose. What dose do you take, n? SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
