Guest guest
I'm so glad things went well for you.Tina I have been, and made it back alive - so far! ;-) Good news - really liked the Dr and NP. Good news - heart, lungs, BP, innards, all seem to be functioning as advertised. Yay! Also good news - I can be referred for dental, optometric, etc, care that we haven't been able to afford. Yay! The not-so-good news - she wants me in the MRI machine as soon as possible, and she mentioned that myasthenia gravis IS a possibility, along with MS or TIAs... So the first hurdle is hurdled, just gotta go Mon for fasting bloodwork, etc. Whew. Guest guest
Do you think you have myasthenia gravis symptoms? The mother of my good friend has MG. She has a fairly mild case but it is very apparent to see the MG from looking at her face. Perhaps it's not always like that? It's great to hear you like the doc!! And you get to go to the dentist!! Have you had an MRI before? big hugs! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
I don't have any of the " special " facial MG things - other symptoms could be MS or MG. My grandmother died of MG, though, so there's a family history. The dentist, etc, will prolly wait a bit - first thing in her opinion is the MRI to be sure what's wrong with my electrical system, then go on down the list of other " owies " . Makes sense to me - don't need new teeth that bad if I'm gonna drop dead next week... ;-D And nope. Total virgin on all sorts of Advanced Medical Care. She's ordering me some Happy Meds for that day. Guest guest
I've always been on the " Strongly Suspect " list - remember, I haven't seen a doctor in 25 years! Symptomology points to MS much more strongly than anything else, but you know how it goes - it's a process of elimination... Step One - MRI, to see if there's actually anything IN my head. ;-) T in WY Practical Blackwork Designs http://practicalblackwork.com http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... " Re: I Have Recieved Medical Attention! See, see I told you so!!! *says she whose bp rises 40 pts just going to a dr*. It sounds like you're really getting a good lookover which is great news. I'm a bit confuzzled here , are you saying you might not have MS? I've a friend who was just treated for MG ... his wife is so happy he can drive again. So now I'm thinking maybe I better buy some new undies and save them til I have to go the dr again .... hugs, Cait I Have Recieved Medical Attention! I have been, and made it back alive - so far! ;-) Good news - really liked the Dr and NP. Whew.
