Guest guest
Hi Veena, I'm so sorry to hear about your hand, that sounds really painful and inconvenient for you! Hope it heals very soon. I don't know whether it's any help to you, but I get phlebitis and spontaneous bursting of my vessels which complicates my joint injuries a lot. I recently dislocated (and query fractured) my left wrist and the doctors were amazed at how much bruising I developed. Turned out I had broken several vessels that were bleeding straight into the thumb joint! The kind of damage they'd expect from a very heavy fall, rather than a dislocation injury. Please take care and although I know how hard it is, try to rest your hand. Hopefully the support and anti-inflammatory gel will help settle things very quickly. Have you considered asking your doctor about a cream that would encourage the bruising to dissipate - I think there is one called Hirodoid, that might help bring the painful bruising out a little. Love and hugs....Jo xxx
