Guest guest
Ed - Your story is almost a duplicate of my own experience with Mont/Sinai from back on 12/20/00 and 1/3/01 save for me being at home between the two surgeries and not hanging around for rehab. Still doing well here. Back skiing, playing ball, light jogging. So far so good. Hang in there. Guest guest
Kim: Go for it! This week marked my 18-month milestone since having my right hip MOM'd resurfaced in Baltimore by Dr. s at Good Samaritan Hospital. While my body didn't react well to surgery (my blood pressure was hard to bring back to normal, i had to have a transfusion, and because of the BP problem, i couldn't take pain killers, and a few other nasty things), everything re the hip went perfectly. The incision immediately healed (no post-op oozing at all) and physical recovery was brilliant. It is truly a miracle. Good luck to you! Maureen
