I was not a Marine but only 4 years ago I use to tackle the starimaster for 1

1/2 hours per day 5 days a week!

Be sure to take it slow in the beginning.

Methadone- lol @ that stuff- I was taking 12 (10's) a day- and nada- not a thing

from them -plus 30 mgs of morphine........ Finally, he understands that the

methadone doesnt touch me and now im on 120 mgs of morphine a day. To me -

those were nothing but sugar pills...... I was never in relief of pain.......

Ive started the 120s two days ago- so hoping this will provide some relief,

swallowing those 12 pills a day- plus all my other meds was really making it

hard on me to swallow after a while, basically gave me a gagging feeling. But

he didnt wean me off them- just plop off the 12 and right onto the 120

morphines.

Re: Re: chiropractor

Hi,

The methadone does nothing for me. I was on a total of 10mg a day for a few

months, and it didn't help my pain at all. I didn't have any side effects from

it at all.

So, since it wasn't helping with the pain, I decided to stop taking it. Had

to wean off it very slowly.

I will ask the chiro about the TBM.

and I just finished at the gym. we did the air pressure machines,

which are very easy. I actually walked on the treadmill for 15 minutes, and did

the bike for 15 minutes. That's the most moving I've done in at least 3 years.

Amazing. I already feel better. A bit tired, but not as tired as usual.

What really got me depressed is finding out that I'm carying around 35 pounds

of fat! I only weight 135.

That just grossed me out.

12 years ago I lifted free weights, and was in tip top shape. Did step

aerobics every day. I was a Marine, for heavens sake!

But, since muscles have memory, hopefully I can keep up with this, and get

back to shape quickly.

I know that the medications make me feel worse. It's almost like I have a

lower pain threshold when I take them. But, when something happens, and I

really hurt, I need them. Then, I get into a bad cycle.

I don't think you should worry too much about your caffeine addiction. Almost

everyone has that. You can't be perfect. I guess gallons of tea is too much.

Maybe you could try green tea for a while. That has less cafeine. Sort of wean

yourself off it.

I have a very addictive personality. So, I'm gonna have to be careful not to

get too carried away with exercise. That's how I got into this situation in the

first place. All I thought about was exercise - when I could go that day, what

I would do. Then, I'd go for walks on top of it, and anything else I could

think of and just wear myself out. So, I gotta be careful.

Hugs,

I am. I'm not the least bit sore in the muscles, so I know I didn't over do it.

My neck, back, shoulder and hip are hurting, but no more than usual.

Isn't it horrible to remember what we used to do?

Wow, that's a lot of methadone.

My pain doctor wouldn't go any higher than 10mg a day.

At first, I was so upset about that. But, now I'm glad he wouldn't.
