Guest guest
Hi Greg, Apparently, your friend didn't examine Dr. De Smet's web site very closely. The good doctor's educational highlights and CV (curriculum vitae) are available at hip-clinic.com. More specifically, Dr. De Smet's educational highlights are at: http://hip-clinic.com/en/html/education.html and his CV is at: http://hip-clinic.com/en/html/cv_de_smet.html Jim V.S. LBHR, Dr. De Smet, 11/25/03 > Hi > I am sort of in the same place you are as far as heading to Belgium. I e-mailed Dr. De Smet and told him I was interested in having my left hip resurfaced, ideally in June. He penciled me in for June 15th! Wow, things are really moving now. I have a friend who isn't sold on the idea and I keep telling him about all of the positive testimonials on this site, and after he looked Dr. De Smet's website he asked me if this guy was an MD? I checked it out myself and honestly couldn't find it out. Do you, or anybody else out there know if he is an MD, and if so where/when he went to school? And if he is not an MD, what kind of problems would it pose? I have been very impressed so far with everything that I have heard about him, but now I'm curious. > Greg (Wisconsin)
Guest guest
Guys Do you really think that one could perform medical operations within EU (European Union) without being a qualified doctor with a passed state exam and a further specialty qualification? This is a bit too much. Dan _____ From: jimrvs Sent: 02 May 2004 05:52 To: surfacehippy Subject: Re: Anybody speak " Belgium-ese?
