Guest guest
Hello All, I saw Dr. Beaule today. After having reviewed my CT scans he recommended removing the pins in my right hip (the painful one currently) and doing some arthroscopy. The good news is; I'm not bone on bone yet, arthroscopy is the conservative way to go, and of course it's fully covered by insurance. Dr. Beaule said that it was important to get the screws out from my previous surgery. I don't have a lot of hope for the arthroscopy, but he also mentioned they could shave down the femur head where it's caused the labrum to tear and apparently he can make microincisions in the cartilage ulceration to encourage regrowth. Anyway, thanks again for everyone's thoughts and info. This has been a great group to have access to, I will be back when I'm bone on bone! Thank you all
Guest guest
Keeping the original equipment, if its still in working order, is always a good thing. Hope its a relatively minor op to get the rusy hardware out. You're in good hands there, good luck. - > > > Date: 2004/07/08 Thu PM 10:47:20 EDT > To: surfacehippy > Subject: saw the good doctor today > > Hello All, > I saw Dr. Beaule today.
