I haven't tried anything to clear my system (besides drinking lots of water

every day) but I have a feeling that I did something to my neck when I was in

bed for two days. Of course, sleeping is one of the hardest things on my body

(along with a lot of others on the list) so I think that there's something out

in the base of my neck. My appt with the Spinal surgeon is next Tuesday so... my

Dr. today may not want to do anything. I really feel like I have motion sickness

all the time (since the reaction).

Re: still reacting

Sorry to hear about your knee - yuck.

Have you tried anything to help get the medication out of your

system? I know activated charcol can help. There are also a lot of

liver cleansers - like milk thistle, dandilion, yellow dock,

artichoke. I have problems clearing meds from my system and my MD

recommended cruciferous veggies - they have something in them that

stimulates phase 2 detox process in the liver - I have found eating

lots of broccoli and cauliflower to help quite a bit.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

too good. I'm still nauseous, dizzy and have a headache. I seem to be

really mixed up all the time. I'm going to call my Dr. this morning

and let him know about it. On top of that, I did a lateral 'pop' to

my knee on Friday trying to turn my shopping cart and it's been

getting worse every day. This morning I couldn't put any weight on it

at all. I can't walk at all without my brace on.

Onale~~

I don't know if you were reading the list about 6 weeks ago but I had a

doozie of a reaction to MScontin. Itching, throat closed. hives nausea,

totally malaise, just could not get out of bed, could not open my eyes.

There really was not too much that helped but time to get that crap out of

my system but I did notice that lots of fluid. even soda, helped me pee and

I think that helped more than anything.

Rest is the best for you now. If you are wiped like I was after, it took

several weeks before I really started feeling like " normal " (what ever that

is! HA!)

So, I guess what I am trying to say is, I have been there and done that so I

know exactly how you are feeling. Just don't push and you will be *good as

new* before you know it!

Hope to hear from you soon!
