Thanks so much for your comforting words.

I sure did have fun with Amber...she was my little sweetie. It's so strange to

not have her following me around, or waiting at the door when I come in.

I've lost other pets, but none had been around as long as Amber. I was beginning

to think she might out live me.

To be so healthy and then to get cancer and go so fast.

I'm glad to she didn't need to suffer long. And I could be with her and hold her

'til the end.

Oh I'm SO sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. I've had animals

all my life which means I've also lost quite a few and it's never easy. Even

when they leave us peacefully in their sleep. My heart aches painfully when I

think of any of the pets I've lost. But I can also smile about all the good and

loving times I had with that pet.

I hope the smiles far outweigh the aches :-)
