Hey, would any of you folks who where resurfed by Dr Gross be willing to

send me Lee Webb's email address. My computer crashed last weekend -- I

got a new one but lost all of my email & my addresses. Thanks, Joyce

Feel free to send it to me personally if you'd rather not put it on the

surf board. sungold518@...

Lee Web e-mail is: leewebb1@...

Speaking of Dr. Gross, I have paid him a visit last week for my 1 year

check-up, and received A+ grade, which means a lot to me since, as he puts

it, I am trying really hard to destroy his hard work, by running a lot and

playing a lot of tennis on " easy " days!

Anyway, on the 12th I celebrated 1 year anniversary of my right hip

resurface and today is a celebration of the left hip resurface. One year

ago, I was laying in Lexington Memorial in Columbia, SC, with all these

tubes and pumps sticking out of me and barely being able to move, even with

a walker (after the surgery), and yesterday I ran about 6 miles pretty hard

(about 8 miles/hour) + some tennis today. What can I say....makes me feel

like crying, but from the joy, what this man and his staff did for me. It

feels good to be one year old.

All the best to the ones that are in the " pipeline " and the ones that came

out from it.

Miren

Hi Miren,

Congrats on the anniversary.......... I remember your posts - does that say

I have been on this list too long.........smile.

You sound a bit like me with all that exercise but my achievements are much

smaller.......... I stick to laps in pools rather than over

ground...........too hard on the rest of me........... But there does seem

to be this urge to sort of make up for lost time, use the body and get it

fit.............. a wonderful feeling and it does make one feel like crying

with joy..........

May we all have many more days like this...........
