Guest guest
Thanks Cindy and Edith for some perspective - I was feeling very paranoid this week - found out I had been walking around with a sinus infection for about a month. I emailed Lee Webb (from Dr. Gross' office) about this as well, and she said that anything that causes pus can be a problem - strep throat, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, stuff like that. I wonder if there are any studies on this subject - as to what the risk factor is, percentage-wise. Do the polyethylene implants react the same way? And does the risk taper off after time? > To the best of my knowledge it is only about teeth because there is some > evidence that work done on teeth can directly allow potential infection > factors more easily into the blood stream.............
