I’ve heard of that happening, but never knew anyone that actually had it happen. Makes you wonder what goes thru their little minds, eh? Lol.. When Christian was sternly told NOT to touch the buttons on the TV or VCR, we saw him standing in front of them one day shaking his head no. It was really cute. I don't think I ever mentioned this. Timmy our youngest son LOVED anything with

buttons, well actually he loved to try anything that looked like he shouldn't

mess with. We were at Sears and Chuck had the two boys and I had Jeannine in the

stroller. We got on the elevator to go down to the first floor. Chuck was

supposed to be watching the boys. All of a sudden all kinds of bells and noises

started. Timmy pushed the alarm in the elevator!!! The doors opened and Jeannine

and I promptly exited the elevator and Chuck was left there to answer

questions!!

Other times we would go to this one store that had an escalator. I always had

Jeannine and Chuck had the boys. I always got on first. I can't tell you how

many times Timmy would reach down and hit the off button! The stairs stopped and

you could almost see everyone going forward!! LOL I noticed a few years after

that most all escalators have covers over the stop button.

On a not funny note, Chuck and his dad were mowing the lawn at their country

property and they had a bucket and pulled the kids behind. The mower was acting

up so back to house they came. I took Jeannine inside with my MIL cause we had

to start lunch and she was too small to be outside with out constant watching.

The guys opened the lid on the mower, told both boys, THIS IS VERY HOT, DO NOT

TOUCH. So the guys went in the garage to get the tools and the boys started off

in a different direction. Timmy changed his mind and came back and all of a

sudden we heard screaming. Timmy had touched the muffler or something and boy

did he burn his hand. Needless to say he never tried that again. He still is our

daredevil!

I don't think I ever mentioned this. Timmy our youngest son LOVED anything with buttons, well actually he loved to try anything that looked like he shouldn't mess with. We were at Sears and Chuck had the two boys and I had Jeannine in the stroller. We got on the elevator to go down to the first floor. Chuck was supposed to be watching the boys. All of a sudden all kinds of bells and noises started. Timmy pushed the alarm in the elevator!!! The doors opened and Jeannine and I promptly exited the elevator and Chuck was left there to answer questions!! Other times we would go to this one store that had an escalator. I always had Jeannine and Chuck had the boys. I always got on first. I can't tell you how many times Timmy would reach down and hit the off button! The stairs stopped and you could almost see everyone going forward!! LOL I noticed a few years after that most all escalators have covers over the stop button.On a not funny note,

Chuck and his dad were mowing the lawn at their country property and they had a bucket and pulled the kids behind. The mower was acting up so back to house they came. I took Jeannine inside with my MIL cause we had to start lunch and she was too small to be outside with out constant watching. The guys opened the lid on the mower, told both boys, THIS IS VERY HOT, DO NOT TOUCH. So the guys went in the garage to get the tools and the boys started off in a different direction. Well the burn was bad enough but not bad enough to go to the hospital. We put

lots of A&D ointment on it and that helped a lot. He never tried that again.

He was a good boy but mischievous for sure.

He reminds me of one of my grandsons:) was a daredevil. He was always climbing on things and balancing on edges (including the roof) One time his other grandparents had a roll of fencing. worked his way into the center of the roll and then couldn't get back out.
