My First Visit with Dr. Amstutz

I just got back from LA today. I had a 9:00am appointment w/ Dr.

Amstutz. All went well I guess. Good news is that I am a candidate

for resurface of my right hip due to AVN complications. Bad news is

that I'm a candidate for the surgery. I'm scared to under the knife!

I haven't had the best luck with doctors so far. Thats another post

so....

The reason for my post today is more about Dr. Gross in S. Carolina.

I mentioned to Dr. Amstutz during my visit this morning that I was

intending to see one more doctor for another opinion before I made a

decision and said that I was thinking about seeing Dr. Gross.

Dr. Amstutz said that Dr. Gross was now using a new device made by

BioMed? He said that the device is really new and has little track

record. Can anyone verify if that is true or not?
