Guest guest Posted April 19, 2011 Report Share Posted April 19, 2011 The Ambulance Staging Manager (ASM) Course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to plan and manage ambulance staging operations during any disaster scenario; and covers topics including staging area selection, personnel requirements, collaboration with the incident command system, resource accountability and documentation. Students participate in a tabletop and large scale exercise, in order to apply theories discussed during the program. Discussions of state disaster operations, and considerations pertaining to federal, state and local disaster declarations are also covered during the program.
