We are really looking forward to the Texas EMS & Trauma Day at the

Capitol tomorrow, February 22, 2011. One change that has arisen is that

the 1:30 p.m. press conference will now take place in the Speaker's

Committee Room 2W.6, which is located on the 2nd floor of the Capitol

outside the House Chamber. While the room is small there is room to

" overflow " into the House Lobby. We encourage all to attend to

demonstrate support for the Texas Trauma System.

The Coalition to Protect Trauma Care Steering Committee has prepared

several documents to assist you with your visits and time at the

Capitol. These will be handed out at the briefing to take place at the

Texas Hospital Association beginning at 9:00 a.m. Please plan to attend

this kick-off of the day. A continental breakfast will be served

beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Finally, if you have not registered your intent to participate in the

day please do so that we may plan appropriately. To register please go

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
