total turning point in my rehab. I'm glad that all went well for

you, and I can tell you it only gets better!!! It's like a jolly

little secret we carry with us. Keep us posted on your progress, and

take care of yourself!!

Well done !! Isn't it a great feeling to know that you've done it and it

will only get better! Enjoy each day of progress- it's remarkbale how quick the

progress is. My laptop with wireless networking has been a godsend as I have

been able to keep in touch with the world and this group at any time during the

days at home on my own. Take care and enjoy the forced R&R

His office had an early date that I jumped at, with only 2 weeks to

prepare, but I got it together and did it. The surgery went well and I am

making a good recovery so far. I've been using two crutches and, in the

last several days, just one around the house. Today, I found it wasn't so

bad to take a few steps with nothing but my legs to support me, but they

were " baby " steps - tentative and " just to see. " I'll keep " crutching "

for a bit, for sure - want to make sure I don't start to limp or

overstress my now " good " hip!

I have the predictable muscles aches and pains, but so far, so good..

Just want to thank all of you who have answered my posts.

Hope I can return the favors as the months go on.

Best,
