I like it too, I used to have a skunk, named (of COURSE) Petunia. Loved that critter!

-- Poor skunks

...I think I must be the only person I know who actually likes the smell of skunks! It's a good smell because it means spring has come around here. Unfortunately by becoming roadkill on the freeway behind our area tho ... hugs, Cait

Dan and all......RE: High pain days

Thanks for the encouragement Dan and everyone else too. I am fortunate that sometimes I can still laugh when things are so painful. It was better when I had a pet, as they always did something comical. Harder now that I’m petless. By the way that swampy smell we kept smelling wasn’t because the house was full of high humidity, but Steve put the blinds down and forgot to close the slider. So all night the mowed grass, and the lake smells were permeating the inside. He didn’t discover it until the next morning when he went to open the blinds. So that meant the slider was open ALL night. We have so many cats that travel thru our backyard, not to mention other country critters, it’s a wonder we didn’t end up with a bed full! Lol… see, humor does a body good. I feel better physically today. Not so much body pain.

Thanks again, hugs, Jackie

not the only one - my friend in Michigan has helped keep a live at least one bunch of skunks - the possum did not winter well - too many temperature fluctuations - deer do come to her back yard for the pond water - she also has outdoor buffet on the back porch for cats
