Guest guest
MSer's about "Lyme" disease. My daughter had it 2003 right after her sister's wedding 10/18/03 All I can say thank GOD my MS at that time was doing good or I wouldn't have made it. The headaches were aweful, her vision was bad too. I found her not even able to get to the bathroom 10 feet from her room. The next day I applied for family medical leave from so I could care for her. We went to the hospital many times as well. We were in the Dupont childrens hospital for 3 days and spent the next 3 months on IV antiboitics. Luckally I knew what I was doing being a nurse. I home health nurse would come by every week to check that her "port" was OK. After the IV's she was on oral antibiotics for another year or so. She had to go to summer school so she could graduate with the rest of her class. On the plus side after all that she went away for college and did very well. When she's tired or fatigued she does still has fibro symtoms that yes she'll have to live with for the rest of her life Now, I've got to close my doors and lock-up and get some rest.
