Guest guest
LoL - thanks Laxity, that is really good! I had great fun perfomring a knee replacement and pretending to be my surgeon this afternoon ;-) It's a great ieda though and will help explain the procedures involved in joint replacement therapy. Will also be very good for keeping inquisitive children quiet for a while too! lol Thanks for sharing Jo x
Guest guest
Thanks for the virtual knee surgery site. According to my PCP and my Rheumie I'll be needing this any time now. The rheumie wanted me to go to the ortho surgeon last January. It was only diagnosed last Sept, and was more than ready to be done then. I didn't even have discomfort until 2 months before! I see him the rheumie again next week, I couldn't wait until mid July, since it's again not wanting to straighten when I rise from a sitting position-and has been a **good** deal more painful. Teh virtual surgery gave me a general idea of what's ahead. I like having an idea of what's going to happen. Thanks bunches, CindyH.
Guest guest
Jo; that was a kick wasn't it? Speaking of 'kicks' it was fun to take that knee and bend it back and forth. I was surprised with the shaving of the bone; who knew? On 6/8/04 4:47 PM, " ceda " ceda > wrote: > > Subject: Re: Virtual Knee surgery > > LoL - thanks Laxity, that is really good!
