Guest guest
A member of this group has a cane cover business called Kickin Cane Covers. She hasn't participated in the group for awhile. I'll copy her on this email and perhaps she will write and give info again about her cute cane covers. The come in a variety of designs and just slip over the cane.hugsSharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects. I tried the cane thing even spent an hour picking one out color etc. Now time to be proactive on my future device. My cane while pretty need to remember my gait/balance. The pretty cane after almost falling on my ass is in my closet looking oh so pretty..smile* I went to walmart today and I had one of those duhhh moments. With the cart I fly thru the isles. One of the things I bought was 3' x 5' remnant rug for my bathroom. Here comes the duh moment I empty'd the car and picked-up the carpet holding it like a cane. I went up my basement steps and it was so easy. I'm mad of myself for not thinking of it sooner. A QUAD cane I'm sure I can find a pretty one...you think???? And walking thru my neighborhood should be safer and faster too??? Next time I go there it's #1 on my list..smile* Hugs Terri >> I had someone say "Are you STILL using that cane?" I laughed and said "Yep, because I STILL have MS."
Guest guest
I got this one from the Walking Cane Company - http://www.walkingcaneco.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=6802 It goes well with most of my wardrobe... :-D I use mine mostly for balance, but I see there are different " feet " or a tripod-style base you can get. Like learning to walk in the first place, learning to walk with a cane takes some practice, and getting it adjusted to the right height for you, and figuring out which hand, etc...
